Birds

I have strong emotions for birds,their fragility and their strength,their powerful life in the air and tragic inseritude on land.And than,they have something,I think the most perfect creation of nature,feather.Love to pick them up from the street,although here in Lisbon there is no much.Here are two of my favorite paintings of birds.

For more than 20 years,my only work on fabrics was painting.Painting silk,wool etamine,velvet ect.Lately I wisited many blogs about felting and was fascinated.Five days ago my doughter brought me some wool and I started.Was a big challenge ,but I am happy to do something new.It is just a start,I hope will be better.These are the results.
